Need a Q3 Pause & Plan?

Are you feeling like the end of the year is closing in already!? It kind of is!

There is some exciting news at the end of this, so stick with me (or jump to the end, lol).

July and August are ideal times to pause, plan and possibly make a course correction for the remainder of the year. Letā€™s slow down for a minute, so we can speed up on what matters most.

While this video was shot in July, August is also the perfect time for your ā€˜pause and planā€™! If you have not done so already, itā€™s time!

These are great to do every year to make sure youā€™re running in the right direction, running towards what matters most, and running in a way that you can sustain.

Itā€™s a great time to take an honest inventory of how the year has gone up to this point and giving deep thought to how youā€™d like it to finish. Time to DE-CIDE On Your Next Best Move?

Now that we are on the backside of 2022, itā€™s possible that itā€™s time for a new beginning, a shift, so we can finish the year as strong as possible. Maybe itā€™s a shift in your morning routine, how much you commit to speaking up, or a big shift in terms of how you lead, where you lead or in what capacity.

Is it time to DE-CIDE?

Phonetically speaking, ā€œdeā€ means ā€œofā€ and ā€œcideā€ means, well ā€œdeath.ā€ When you DE-CIDE, itā€™s the ā€˜death ofā€™ any other option. Deciding is a commitment to move forward, even if you are not ready or are scared. If you gut and your heart says itā€™s a go, then letā€™s get it!

Oftentimes gaining pure clarity is the hardest part.

Why?

Simply put, we have a lot of baggage, past experiences, past influences, and stories we tell ourselves which gets in the way of us taking action.

Need Clarity for What's Next? Start Here...

If you feel a bit like youā€™re spinning, not in control of your days, your voice is not being heard, or youā€™re just not feeling the joy you want and deserve, youā€™re not alone. The great news is that there is half the year left to course correct!

Your voice, contribution, and leadership matter, a lot. For you to get the projects, promotions, recognition, and respect you want and deserve, AND in a sustainable way, weā€™ll need to take a pause. Here is step #1 which includes a few questions to ponder for a mid-year course correction, so you can finish the year strong, and happy!

Warning! These may not be easy :)

Step #1: Take inventory

  • Am I in the right role, or do I need to make an exit plan?
  • Do I feel heard, valued, and respected?
  • What would an ideal workday look like for me?
  • Whatā€™s one big (or small:) ask to make this happen?
  • Whatā€™s a micro-step I can take to make this happen?
